Imad Wasim delegated captain of Karachi Kings
The Pakistan Super League (PSL) establishment Karachi Kings
on Tuesday declared to designate left-arm spinner Imad Wasim as commander of
the group for the third version of the class which will be played one year from
now, DawnNews revealed.
While conversing with DawnNews following the declaration,
Wasim said he will attempt to follow in the strides of Shahid Afridi, the
leader of Karachi Kings, and Sarfaraz Ahmed, the skipper of Pakistan's national
cricket group.
"I have been given a duty [as the skipper of Karachi
Kings] and will attempt to perform to the best of my capacities," he said.
"I have been playing forceful cricket for the
[national] group and will keep up that while playing for Karachi Kings,"
he included. "I won't just lead the group [Karachi Kings] in the most
ideal way that could be available however will likewise focus on my individual
execution."
Lauding Sarfaraz, Imad said the national group's captain was
"the best thing that happened to Pakistan cricket" lately.
He kept up that Sarfaraz's hostility on the pitch did not
reach out to the changing area.
"He just gets furious when a player commits an error,
however off the field or in the changing area Sarfaraz is the most neighborly
individual."
The left-arm spinner additionally said that since the two
